Former vocalist of the band 'Héroes del Silencio', Enrique Bunbury, was forced to interrupt his concert in Quito, Ecuador, to get the attention of one of his fans, who was focused on their cell phones instead of enjoying the show.

The incident occurred at the General Rumiñahui Coliseum , where Enrique Bunbury was offering one of the performances of his 'Huracán Ambulante' tour, which takes him to several countries, recalling his greatest musical hits.

However, it didn't go as the artist expected, as he was forced to interrupt the show to scold several attendees who were focused on recording it with their cell phones, as seen in several videos circulating on social media.

"With the fucking camera, recording the whole fucking concert," were the words with which he began his call for attention.

Bunbury was surprised to see that many people in the front row preferred to record the concert rather than live the experience. "I understand the madness we've reached with cell phones (...) but there are certainly many people who would like to be there: connecting and enjoying the songs," the artist emphasized.

He also called for reflection on the excessive use of technology, noting that it was important to use "our hands for something other than having a fucking technological appendage."

The "Entre dos tierras" singer also expressed that those recording "make the concert worse." He apologized to the audience for interrupting the song he was performing: "It completely took my focus away," he added.

Finally, Enrique Bunbury decided to take off his guitar in a sign of annoyance , while some attendees responded with whistles.
